FAQ
- Why do all people who visit my xanga get logged as "user", "home", or something and not
their usernames?
You are probably using a skin or something that changes the text of the link to the user's
private page. XASM uses this link to determine who's visiting your page. To fix this,
either fix the skin (if possible), get rid of the skin, or place the xasm script before
any script that modifies the link text.
- Why am I not showing up when I visit my own xanga page?
XASM won't track you when you visit your own xanga. XASM is designed to protect you from
dangerous Internet stalkers. If you're worried that you might be stalking yourself, this
module probably can't help you...
- Who is anonymous and why is he stalking me so much?
An entry with anonymous means the user wasn't logged in when he visited your xanga.
You can use the view by IP Address and Browser ID features to try to figure out who it is.
- Can I have the source code?
Sure. Just look at the code above and the javascript code that is loaded. I probably won't
release the php code for a while, because it is messy, inefficient, and designed to get around
some quirks on my host. There's nothing terribly complicated going on with the php code
anyway, so there's not too much to learn from it and it shouldn't be too hard to reproduce.
- Why don't your respond to my e-mails?
How did you get my e-mail address?
